Vikram Sharma, MD

Dr. Vikram Sharma, MBBS, MD, FACC, MRCP, is an interventional cardiologist who practices with Georgia Heart Institute in Gainesville. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr. Sharma previously served as a clinical assistant professor on the interventional cardiology staff at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He completed fellowship training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology through the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic after completing British Core Medical Training at London Deanery. He earned a Doctor of Medicine by Research degree at University College London. He also holds a Professional Certificate in Advanced Biostatistics through the Harvard Catalyst program.

Dr. Sharma has published dozens of articles and research projects and is involved in ongoing research to investigate pharmaceutical and device therapies.
