Marc Erickson, MD

Dr. Erickson is a cardiac electrophysiologist who practices with Georgia Heart Institute in Braselton and Bethlehem. His primary clinical interests include conduction system pacing, management of arrhythmias, and dysautonomia like postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).

He completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Erlanger/University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Tennessee and a Fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Geisinger Health in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Erickson promotes shared decision-making with his patients. “If we decide to pursue treatment, I want my patients to feel that we’re making that decision together," he says "I take the time to understand their symptoms, how those symptoms affect their daily lives, and what matters most to them. My goal is to recommend treatments that have the potential to make a meaningful difference in their quality of life. I believe in explaining things clearly and honestly. When patients understand their options and why I’m recommending a particular approach, they can feel confident in the decisions we make together.”
