Marc Erickson, MD

Dr. Erickson is a cardiac electrophysiologist who practices with Georgia Heart Institute in Braselton and Bethlehem. His primary clinical interests include conduction system pacing, management of arrhythmias, and dysautonomia like postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).

He completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Erlanger/University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Tennessee and a Fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Geisinger Health in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Erickson promotes shared decision-making with his patients. "If we pursue a treatment modality, I want everyone to be on the same page," he says. "I spend a lot of time at the front end trying to understand exactly what symptoms they have to see if I can offer anything that will give them tangible improvements to their living conditions. Simple, straightforward explanations go a long way to helping people understand why I think a given treatment will or won’t work."
