Hanbi Hong, MSN, RN, FNP, is a cardiology nurse practitioner who sees patients at Georgia Heart Institute in Buford. Fluent in Korean as well as English, she is also a registered yoga instructor who is passionate about wellness and fitness.
During her high school years living in the Philippines, Hanbi volunteered at an orphanage. Observing how nurses provided practical care to the community, she was inspired to pursue nursing as a career. She worked as a staff nurse in a hospital cardiothoracic surgery step-down unit before earning her master's degree and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked for almost six years at an internal medicine and geriatrics clinic in Gwinnett County.
Hanbi seeks to place the patient at the center of care, focusing on keeping them informed, setting clear expectations, and preventing disease progression. She seeks to make the patient a partner in setting goals and developing care plans tailored to their unique needs.

Very impressed with the entire Hospital, Dr's offices various teams that cared for me in the hospital, in the Dr's offices and contacted by both GPs office and Cardiologist concerned about me and working in tandem to get me seen. Excellence shown.

I've seen several doctors and nurse practitioners in your practice. This young lady was by far the best of all I would take her as my doctor even though she is only a nurse practitioner. She was wonderful most helpful of any of your doctors ever.
