Hanbi Hong, FNP

Hanbi Hong, MSN, RN, FNP, is a cardiology nurse practitioner who sees patients at Georgia Heart Institute in Buford. Fluent in Korean as well as English, she is also a registered yoga instructor who is passionate about wellness and fitness.

During her high school years living in the Philippines, Hanbi volunteered at an orphanage. Observing how nurses provided practical care to the community, she was inspired to pursue nursing as a career. She worked as a staff nurse in a hospital cardiothoracic surgery step-down unit before earning her master's degree and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked for almost six years at an internal medicine and geriatrics clinic in Gwinnett County.

Hanbi seeks to place the patient at the center of care, focusing on keeping them informed, setting clear expectations, and preventing disease progression. She seeks to make the patient a partner in setting goals and developing care plans tailored to their unique needs.
